Detection and Protection Against Arp Spoofing on Android System By:Yew Zheng Chuah Published on 2013 by The purpose of this research is to detect and protect Android device from attack in public hotspot called ARP spoofing. The way to approach is by installing application in Android device. An Android application will be installed in Android devices. When there is connection, the application will be able to run the process to provide detection and protection against ARP spoofing. The Android application will be compiled by Java programming. The application created is for Android devices which able to run on Android 2.2 until Android 4.2 only. The major conclusion that can be done here is that the Android application can provide detect and protect functions for user to avoid attacker using ARP spoofing on public hotspot to launch another attack to steal user's information.
